TIBURONES: LOS GUARDIANES DEL OCÉANO EN PELIGRO
Desde la ciencia, la educación y la conservación, esta iniciativa propone proteger a los tiburones del Mar Argentino frente a la pesca indiscriminada y la desinformación, fortaleciendo áreas marinas seguras y revalorizando su rol esencial en el equilibrio del océano.
TRANSPARENCIA PESQUERA: EL MAR NOS PERTENECE A TODOS
Con el mar como bien común, esta propuesta impulsa la apertura de datos de la actividad pesquera en Argentina para garantizar control ciudadano, gestión sostenible y reglas claras sobre quiénes pescan y cómo se administran los recursos marinos.
PESCA DE ARRASTRE: DETENER LA DEFORESTACIÓN DE NUESTRO MAR
Frente a una de las prácticas más destructivas para el océano, este proyecto busca frenar la pesca de arrastre de fondo mediante transparencia, regulación y restauración del lecho marino, visibilizando el costo ambiental oculto detrás de la actividad pesquera.
This project aims to merge art and environmental education through muralism, with a clear purpose: the protection of the sea. It is an initiative designed to raise awareness in the community about the importance of conserving marine ecosystems, as well as to highlight their threats and promote actions to defend them.
On the Patagonian coasts, most of the plastic waste accumulated on the beaches comes from fishing activities. This represents a major threat to biodiversity and marine and coastal ecosystems, especially for endangered species and vulnerable habitats.
MARINE PROTECTED AREA: NAMUNCURÁ – BURDWOOD BANK II
It is a submerged plateau that, being shallower than the surrounding areas and influenced by surrounding currents, triggers the upwelling of nutrients from the depths, transforming its terrain into an explosion of life.
